JDA is a design led Architecture and Interiors Practice. Established in 2013, we work with ambitious Clients to develop bespoke design solutions.
Born from a background in branded environments, JDA seeks to establish a brand of architecture unique to each Client, yet true to our core principle of creating clean, contemporary design solutions.
We blend contemporary notion with traditional proportion, and are driven to create finely crafted buildings that are both meticulous in detail and rich in materiality.
Our designs are inspired by landscape and site context; we focus on proportion and seek to create intimate, tactile spaces that deliver an inherent sense of place.
JONATHAN DOUGLAS
Prior to establishing JDA, Jonathan worked at the celebrated design house, Pentagram where he delivered Branded Environment Architecture and Interior Design Projects for international brands.
He takes inspiration from his Client’s lives and ethos, combining their individual perspectives with his own love for local context, landscape, traditional proportion and natural, pared back building materials.
Jonathan took undergraduate degrees at the University of Brighton before a post graduate degree at The Bartlett, University College London. He is elected to the RIBA, RIAS & ARB.

JDA have a network of experienced and reliable consultants. At the outset of a project we will advise clients on relevant statutory undertakings that require consultant input as well as non-statutory consultancies that will benefit a project. We will work with you to assemble a project team and manage these consultancies for the duration of the project. Consultancies include:
