JDA stripped this 3 storey Georgian townhouse, a Building of Townscape Merit back to its bare masonry to enable structural remedy works to the front elevation, before we fully reconfigured, refurbished and extended the property.  

To the rear, JDA acquired planning for a unique full depth single storey extension replacing an existing outhouse and garage; repositioning the living space around a new central courtyard.  

JDA proposed a unique approach to the glazing, large format glass doors slide externally coming to rest in timber clad reveals to create seamless unimpeded openings enabling the courtyard to become an extended living space. 

The refurbishment committed to a full thermal upgrade and integration of a sedum roof design to the new extension to exceed environmental requirements.
